In the lower part of the pen's body is the engraved silhouette of the Monastery of Khor Virap, located on the site of the ancient Armenian capital Artashat. From the walls of the monastery, the wonderful view of Mount Ararat opens up, wh ere, according to legend,  Noah landed after the Flood. Engraved here also is the Armenian, so-called "blooming" cross characterized by sprouted branches, symbolizing the life-giving power of the cross. Applied on the pen's body is the Armenian system of calculation established by using capital letters of the Armenian alphabet. On the cap, applied by laser engraving, is the  silhouette of Mount Ararat - the symbol of the Armenian nation. The gold rim of the cap is decorated with pomegranates - a symbol of fertility and wealth, as well as the name of the country and the date of 552, from which the Great Armenian time recording begins. The upper part of the cap is decorated with the Armenian tricolor - red, blue and orange, the colors of the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia, traditionally used in the coats of arms and flags of the royal dynasties of Armenia.
